Excellent Short Tour of Akihabara
We were strapped for time and Ken was kind enough to give us a condensed tour of Akihabara. Ken embodies the best of Japan as a guide – warm, very smart and knowledgeable but with quiet strength and humility. We absolutely enjoyed learning about the history of this unique part of Tokyo. I would wholeheartedly recommend Ken.

Dear Priya, Thank you so much for your kind review. It was truly my pleasure to guide you and your lovely children through Akihabara. Although our time was limited, I did my best to select spots that matched your children’s interests—and seeing their excitement over anime figures and the unique atmosphere of Akihabara truly made me happy. I’m glad we could explore a bit of the rich history and culture of this area together. I wish you and your family a wonderful continued journey in Japan, and I hope our paths cross again someday. Warm regards, Ken
Great planning to allow multiple places within a short time
Thank you, Ken-san and Sachie-san for the tour and great planning, that we were able to visit several places (Tokyo Skytree, Asakusa, Akihabara, Zojoji Tokyo Tower, Shibuya) within short amount of time. Thank you for helping to take nice photos too. It was definitely a good day spending time with the both of you during our tour.

Dear Ricky, Thank you so much for your kind words and wonderful review! It was truly my pleasure to guide you on your very first trip to Japan. I’m glad to hear that I was able to help make your experience smoother and more enjoyable. This tour was a bit longer than usual, so I hope you weren’t too tired afterward. I really enjoyed spending time with you and capturing some fun moments through the photos we took. You both have great smiles! I wish you the best for the rest of your journey in Japan. And if you ever come back again, I’d be more than happy to guide you once more! Warm regards, Ken
Ken is great (Must-See Spots in Tokyo)
We loved Ken for our guide. He knows all the hidden spots whether it is a maid cafe or anime specialty stores. We also hit sky tree and temple. He has lots of knowledge and goes extra mile for you. He knows how to avoid busy times and gave us great tips prior to and after our tour. He’s a great photographer and send you a link with the pics. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review! It was truly a pleasure guiding your group, and I’m honored to hear that you enjoyed the tour. Although both Tokyo Skytree and Asakusa were quite crowded that day, I was so happy to see how everyone stayed cheerful and enjoyed the experience together. The weather was a bit cloudy at times, but we were lucky to catch glimpses of blue sky—and of course, it was the perfect timing for the cherry blossoms, which I hope added a special memory to your trip. I’m also glad to hear you appreciated the visit to the maid café and anime stores—it’s always fun to explore the unique sides of Tokyo! If the photos I took bring back good memories, I’ll be very happy. Thank you again for choosing me as your guide. I hope to see you again on your next visit to Japan—and please don’t hesitate to share my name if your friends are planning a trip too! Warmest regards, Ken
Great experience!
I was in Tokyo with my family and pretty quickly realized that my dads mobility was worse than we thought it would be, so he had to sit out a few days. I decided it’d be a good idea to get a guide for him and my family so me and my partner can have a day to ourselves to explore. I reached out to Ken 2 days prior and let him know the situation and the needs and preferences of everyone he would be guiding. For example, I told him that my mom and sister wanted some time to go shopping and my dad wanted to see a cultural spot. I also told him that my dad might need to sit down and rest while my mom and sister shop and would love to just chat and ask questions about Japan. Ken responded super fast and told me that he was happy to be flexible and meet the needs of everyone. Once I booked him, he created an itinerary that included wheelchair assistance for my dad. We spoke on the phone briefly to confirm the itinerary and the plans were set. I wasn’t actually on the guide so I can’t speak for that personally. However, throughout the guide, he was very communicative with all the members of the family and took lots of photos. While my mom and sister shopped, he took my dad around on a wheelchair and took photos with him. He sent them to me afterwards and said he had lots of fun hanging out with my dad. Highly recommend!

Dear Jonathan, Thank you very much for your kind review. It was truly my pleasure to guide your father and family. Since we are of a similar generation, I felt a special connection with him, and we quickly became friends. We were lucky to have such beautiful weather, and I’m glad we were able to visit a lovely garden—especially with the availability of a rental wheelchair. Thanks to the warm support from your entire family, we enjoyed a smooth and memorable walking tour together. I’m also happy to hear that you appreciated the photos I took during the tour. Thank you once again for choosing my tour, and I wish you and your family all the best in the days ahead. Warm regards, Ken
